Joshua Chessin-Yudin was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. For as long as he could remember, he had always been an avid fan of cinema and theatre, so much so that an intense passion for film and the stage began to brew. He knew right away that he wanted to be involved in the arts.
This desire led to taking improv classes in middle school, drama classes in high school and ultimately two degrees in Drama Performance and Spanish from the University of Washington.
He was most recently seen on stage in San Francisco in Golden Thread’s production of Mona Mansour’s “We Swim, We Talk, We Go to War.”
A couple of years ago Josh moved from Seattle to New York City to pursue more theatre, film and television opportunities.
CURRENTLY - From now until January 12, 2020, Josh will be the understudy for the role of Christopher in Roundabout Theatre Company’s “The Sound Inside,” written by Adam Rapp and directed by David Cromer at Studio 54.
